ShelfAware® LLC privacy policy Last updated: October 21, 2020
The privacy of your data is important to us. The ShelfAware LLC Mobile Audit App is designed to reconcile physical inventories with on hand inventory information stored on the ShelfAware Platform Web Application. We’ll only ever access your account to help you with a problem or resolve a software bug. We log all access to all accounts by IP address, so we can always verify that no unauthorized access has happened for as long as the logs are kept.
Data Collection & Use
The ShelfAware LLC Mobile Audit App will require you to first have an active profile inside the ShelfAware web application. For contact purposes we ask for your name, organization name, phone number, and email address. During the Audit process ShelfAware LLC Audit App will collect on hand RFID tag information and compare/reconcile this information with the inventory data stored on ShelfAware’s web application. We’ll never sell your personal info to third parties, and we won’t use your name or company in marketing statements without your permission, either. Furthermore if any third party with whom the app shares user data – such as analytics or other related entities the third parties will provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this app’s privacy policy.
When you write ShelfAware LLC with a question or to ask for help, we’ll keep that correspondence, and the email address, for future reference. When you browse our marketing pages, we’ll track that for statistical purposes (like conversion rates and to test new designs). We also store any information you volunteer, like surveys, for as long as it makes sense.
The only times we’ll ever share your info:
To provide products or services you’ve requested, with your permission. List of third-party services we use. To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.
If ShelfAware LLC is acquired by or merged with another company, we’ll notify you well before any info about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
