Energy Manufacturing, headquartered in Monticello, Iowa, is a manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders and fluid power components. Before ShelfAware, Energy personnel was managing over 700 hydraulic seal SKU’s spread across 12-15 independent suppliers.

Energy was struggling with many of the common issues seen in traditional supply chain management – not having the right part when needed, delays from the seal manufacturers, allocating significant labor hours to the procurement of lower dollar volume items, spending significant dollars on expedited freight, etc. Energy had a desire to streamline and automate their seal supply chain, and that’s when ShelfAware entered the picture.
